Guilt...it's a thing everyone deals with! Almost everyday we feel guilty about something or another. What does the Bible say about guilt...well let's look up some verses on it...first Acts 24:16 I strive always to keep my monscience clear before God and man.
You should also look up 1 Corinthians 8:12 about the conscience being weak
Titus 1:15 about being corrupt
and Hebrews 10:22 about cleansing the conscience!!
Isn't it awesome that God will forgive you no matter what you do?! I can't even start to imagine my life without God. His love is just so important and crucial in my life! And it can be in yours to! All you have to do is ask for him to come into your life! Call me if you want to talk i'm always here!

2 Corinthians 2:5-11
Forgiveness for the Sinner
5If anyone has caused grief, he has not so much grieved me as he has grieved all of you, to some extent—not to put it too severely. 6The punishment inflicted on him by the majority is sufficient for him. 7Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him, so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. 8I urge you, therefore, to reaffirm your love for him. 9The reason I wrote you was to see if you would stand the test and be obedient in everything. 10If you forgive anyone, I also forgive him. And what I have forgiven—if there was anything to forgive—I have forgiven in the sight of Christ for your sake, 11in order that Satan might not outwit us. For we are not unaware of his schemes.
Hmmmm.....so what God says here is, if someone does wrong to you God says that it is nothing to Him compared to how you handle it! And that he who does wrong to you will be punished in one way or another...you may never know it but that person will one day realize that they have done wrong...Verse 7 talks about forgiving the one who did wrong to you!....Forgiveness isn't for them but for you! God forgives us daily! We do things and He just goes and forgives us when we repent! Isn't that amazing; why can't we do that for those who wrong us?? The passage also tells you to love him as well!!! Yeah not only forgive him but then show him love! Verses 9& 10 is simple Paul tells the church that he wrote to them to see if they would be obedient!! Also that if you forgive them Christ will forgive them! Another amazing thing!!!! not just them but anything needing forgiveness He will forgive! and finally verse 11 Don't let satan pimp you!It says we are not unaware of his schemes---We know he is plotting against us and we should be ready for it when he does....so we can defeat him with the power of Christ.
Prayer---Lord let me be able to forgive those who harm me, those who do wrong against me! Help them Father and help me be more like You daily! Thank you Jesus in Your name AMEN!
May God be with you!!

What could God be up to?
Ok here's the question...What could God be up to in your life? Hmmm...Your life is made up on the decisions you make....For example you could choose to cross the busy street without the crosswalk sign saying go ahead and get hit and spend months in the hospital if you weren't killed, painful therepy and expensive doctor bills...Or you could wait for the go ahead light for pedestrians and cross the street safely and get on with your life. God doesn't have your life set in stone there is no determined destiny. Rather He knows all and knows what you will do! There is a huge difference but you have the power to choose and change what you believe and do! So make your life a life of praise to God that's why He created us..it's for praise to worship Him! God loves us so much He sent His only Son to die for you and for me to save us from eternity in Hell...to open the gift of everlasting life with Him in Heaven! All you have to do is accept it by asking Him to guide your life to come into it and hand it over to Him completely! It won't be easy but with His help and faith in Him you will make it through! And in the end you will be rewarded greatly!

So much happening
Hey all ya'll, hope all has been good! Well God has worked in our youth this summer! At both teen camp and family camp we had teens giving their lives over to our Lord Jesus Christ!! PTL!!!! Now we as a youth group are starting Wednesday Devotions and Thursday Youth Group!!!!! Our NYI council headed up by NYI President Nina C. has been working nonstop to ensure that we are moving forward. Even though some minor issues have come up with the board, we will not falter doing God's work! We have so much planned for the fall with activities, trips, fundraisers, it will be an exciting time for all youth! Remember to tell all your friends about us! Don't hesitate to invite people to our church for any service!
12Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity. 1st Timothy 4:12 NIV
God Bless and continue to pray for us,

I think this is awesome!!
1st Timothy 4:12 don't let anyone look down on you because you are young but set an example for believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith, and in purity! I think this is awesome because when I was a teenager about 16,17,18 I worked in my churches children's ministries. we had an awesome Pastor who headed the ministry and one of the songs he taught the kids was this verse. I think it is just as relevant to teens today as it is to children. We as young Christians should be setting an example for those who maybe have fallen away or just for those who don't believe, while we live life and be Christians through every aspect of our lives from today til when we die. If we live like that we will surely be blessed throughout our life and in heaven.
Hey anytime you need someone to talk to just call me or email me or whatever!!!!!!

Phillipians 4:3
Hey Ya'll,
This is a first, I am going to base a whole blog to Phillipians 4:3...It's really a short verse but just in my personal life it has meant soo much and still does today. "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Phil 4:3 NIV. Ok so it sounds simple right..well it is but this means that you with the help of Christ can overcome any obstacle you come across maybe it's a tough sport, a job, just taking the smelly garbage to the road. Whatever it is trust it into God's hands and ask for help and He will be right by your side.
What has this verse meant for me personally well....first would be Boot Camp, right before I left for the airport my father pulled me aside gave me a hug and whispered Phillipians 4:3 into my ear. There it rang for 3 months straight, during every part of training my dads words stayed with me, even when I was discouraged. Now that I am back to being a civilian it has helped me..through work it has given me that little boost to keep going.
What can this mean for you or what's the point...Well first as always if you haven't come to accept Jesus as your Savior then you should start with that, you can always come to the Pastors, Judi, Trish, Sherry, and myself, we are more than happy to pray with you. Then whenever you think you can't do something or life seems to hard just repeat these words and see how it affects your life and walk with Christ!!
Ok, hope you get something out of this God loves you and wants you!!

Can God use Teens???????
Ok so this morning I talked about Elijah and Ahab. Now someone had asked some sort of question that got me thinking "Why doesn't God do that anymore?" asking why God doesn't talk to people like he did Elijah... Well here's a new headline..He does. God never stopped using anyone for His will. And I don't think He will stop anytime soon. I have been told and I tell people that God has a beautiful and wonderful plan for your life! I believe that with all my heart and I know that He talks to all of us if we would just get quiet and listen. Now I know that sounds like it could be hard but really we can take 20 minutes out of our busy summer days to get away and be in prayer talking to God.
God has already used our teens, just by having a friend come with you required you to believe that there is something worth sharing with someone else! And those who sing with the teen worship or individually. Maybe you pray quietly before eating or before a huge test. Whatever you do just take that little time with God and listen for Him to lay something on your heart! He will use you if you feel ready and ask to be used!
Now this has been a short one but I think I got what I needed to say.
Remember GOD HAS A BEAUTIFUL AND WONDERFUL PLAN FOR YOUR LIFE!!

After Allnighter/some Aaron Thoughts
Wow it never amazes me how God works in Churches, Families, Neighborhoods, and our own personal life. We started the allnighter off with an exercise to get out all anger, sin by throwing water balloons at people and shouting what it was that we didn't like. I love those exercises because you can be open with your peers about some life issues and work to overcome those with the help of Christ!!
Here comes the thoughts. I know that we as young adults are going through life and physical changes even emotional changes, how do we deal with it? Some probably don't notice it and that's great but for the rest of us, what can we do to get through life changes without hurting ourselves or those around us who love us. Well the first and obvious thing is pray and ask God for guidence and help if that means peace of mind, or courage for something this should be the first thing to do. Second would be to keep yourself in check morally, spiritually, ask someone close to you to be your accountability partner, someone who you can meet with once or twice a week to talk about what's going on and if you handled yourself correctly or what could you do better to improve your christian walk with Christ.
As always I am only a phone call away or e-mail. Now I would put more down but I have to keep some for sunday schools if I am given the opportunity to teach. Thanks to all who came to the Teen Take Over!!! It was amazing to see that many kids from the area in our church. Remember that I pray for ya'll everyday and if you have anything that needs prayer please let me know!!
